Our main office is in Salem and is open for new applicants on Monday and Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and also Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The office is closed from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. for lunch Monday through Friday.
Our Independence office is open for regular office hours and new applicants on Monday and Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

You have to be a resident of Oregon for six months to start any actions and I think you are probably really close, if not already here the six months. I think the best thing to do is to come to our office during our regular intake hours and talk with someone. I don't know your transportation situation so I hope coming to our Salem location is an option for you. If you come in and are eligible, you could talk with someone the same day. Our hours are 9-11 am Mondays and Tuesdays, and 4-6 pm on Tuesdays. We are at the corner of 17th & State Streets behind King Donuts. We don't charge for anything but divorce and custody classes and while I am not an attorney I don't believe you would be right for the one of the classes.
